Wellcome to kennel Beatus homepage!
We breed Irish Wolfhounds in Lieto, in the countryside village near the
city Turku in Southwest-Finland. We have been involved in the breed since
1987, the first litter was born 1994. Timo has been the member of the board
totally 11 years in different positions. Outi has been the editor of the Irish
Wolfhound Magazine three years and after that about 10 years the member of the Breeding Committee. Outi judge all the FCI group 10 breeds and Pharaoh Hounds, all Podencos/Podengos, Cirnecos and some very rare breeds.
The kennelprefix Beatus is latin and means “happy”. We hope you
enjoy your visit among our happy hounds.
